Itinerary of Maharaja tours (16 days) in Detail

Days 01 : Arrival airport and transfer at New Delhi to hotel and in the later afternoon we take you to a drive tour of Old & New Delhi.

Days 02 : After breakfast we drive to Neemrana. A former fort is painstakingly furnished to restore its past glory. It is situated at the most picturesque site and most of the rooms have private balcony facing panoramic vistas.

Days 03 : We drive today to one of the major places in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan-Mandawa. Dusty streets with painted havelis is the unique feature of this region.

Days 04 : We drive today, after a drive of about 130 Kms at Bikaner-a desert city. We check in at the most impressive & secluded Gajner palace on the outskirts of the city. A private sanctuary and beautiful lake are the major attractions here.

Days 05 : After breakfast we drive to Khimsar enroute Deshnok temple, Rat Temple and check in at Khimsar fort. This is ideal place for Jeep safaris & village tours.

Days 06 : Today we drive to one of the major towns of Rajasthan-Jodhpur. We visit here, Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Our host Ajit Bhavan is impressive red sand stone structure built in 19th century.

Days 07 : On our way to Ghanerao, we will see a famous Jain temple at Ranakpur. We visit here tribal village & Kumbhalgarh fort.

Days 08 : A drive of about 130 Kms brings us to Udaipur - a city of lakes and palaces, temples. Our host, Shiv Nivas Palace is one of the best in Rajasthan and is blend of Mughal decorative art and Rajput Military Architecture.

Days 09 : We drive today to a remote town of Dungarpur to arrive at Udai Bilas Palace, the banquet Hall here, with its jaunting trophies and crystal chandeliers takes on a back to the days of past.

Days 10 : A visit to for Dungarpur.

Days 11 : We drive to Bijapur and enroute visit Chittorgarh fort which is famous for Rani Padmini who sacrificed herself. Castle Bijapur was build in 16th century. It has few attractions nearby i.e. Panagarh fort, Lake, wildlife sanctuary etc.

Days 12 : A 5 hrs drive to Roopangarh via Ajmer. Roopanagarh fort was built in 1653 AD and was the capital for about 100 days.

Days 13 : We drive today to Jaipur, pink city and the capital of the state of Rajasthan, and arrive at Narayan Niwas Palace, which has been constructed in 1928AD by the first Indian, commissioned in the British Army.

Days 14 : We explore this city of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal, City palace and its Museum, largest sun-dial in an ancient observatory built by astronomer king & Amer fort with Elephant ride.

Days 15 : After breakfast we drive to Agra and have halt at Fatehpur Sikri-old capital of Emperor Akbar. We arrive by late afternoon at hour hotel in Agra.

Days 16 : After breakfast we visit Taj Mahal; Agra fort, and other important monuments in town. In the afternoon we start our return trip to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer to International airport for your onward journey back home.
